Eight men arrested following 'serious public order incident' in north Dublin

Gardai investigating a serious public order incident that happened in Finglas, north Dublin last month have arrested eight men.

The men, aged between 23 and 35, are currently being detained at Finglas, Blanchardstown, Ballymun and Clondalkin garda stations.

The incident happened at around 9pm on October 19 at a public house on Cardiffsbridge Road.

Gardai investigating the incident obtained warrants and searched a number of dwellings this morning.

Members of the local detective unit, drugs unit and burglary response unit also attended the scenes.
