Witness 'knew of murder plan'
THE chief prosecution witness in a murder trial has said she should not feel guilty about Shane Geoghegan's murder, despite knowing about the killing and doing nothing to prevent it.
April Collins (26) spent her third day in the witness box at the Special Criminal Court yesterday in the trial of John Dundon (30), Hyde Road, Limerick, who is charged with murdering the Garryowen rugby player.
She testified that she had heard Dundon order another man's killing and that he panicked when he heard the wrong man had been shot. He denies the murder. The trial continues.
