Wedding attack murder charge as man due in court

A 46-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of Bernard McGinley over a week ago.

The man is due at Omagh Magistrates Court this morning, according to the PSNI.

Mr McGinley (63) was shot and killed outside a church in Newtownbutler, Co Fermanagh, on February 11. Mr McGinley, a member of the Travelling community, was airlifted to hospital but died later.

The ceremony, which was about to start when the shootings happened, was delayed. The wedding party had travelled to Newtownbutler from Longford and Dublin.
