Two men have been arrested in Tralee following a seizure by gardai of cannabis plants with a value in excess of €1 million

Gardaí in Tralee are investigating the discovery of over 1000 plants. The find was made following a planned search at an industrial unit in Clash, Tralee this morning.

Two men, believed to be in their late 20s or early 30s, have been arrested at scene. They are being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Tralee Garda station.

The area where the drugs have been found has been sealed of for technical examination.
