Teenager guilty of selling heroin to undercover cops
A TEENAGER, who sold heroin to undercover gardai on three dates in the same month, has been remanded on bail pending sentencing.
The 17-year-old had “made no reply to the charges” when he was charged at the Dublin Children's Court.
He pleaded guilty to possessing heroin for the purpose of sale or supply, at two locations in Priorswood in north Dublin on three dates in January.
Judge Ann Ryan asked for a pre-sentence probation report on the youth to be prepared and adjourned sentencing for four weeks.
Garda David Meehan had told the court that the teenager was arrested in March and detained for questioning under the Drug Trafficking Act. He had said the case involved three amounts of heroin each worth E20.
The court was told the boy was caught “supplying deals to undercover gardai”.
