A TEENAGE girl and her boyfriend appeared in court to face eight charges related to the manufacturing of explosives, the possession of bomb making parts and the possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life.
Orla O'Hanlon of Church Road, Forkhill, and her boyfriend Keith McConnan (20) of Tievecrom Road, Forkhill, appeared at Newry Crown Court.
Ms O'Hanlon pleaded not guilty to all charges, and was released on continuing bail.
Mr McConnan faces the same charges - but his arraignment was delayed because his legal representative was not in court.
He was remanded in custody to appear in court on Thursday.
The bomb parts they are accusing of possessing include a mobile phone-operated switch unit. The charges arise from a police search of a property in December 2013.
