Soccer boss sues FAI's Delaney
A DATE has been set for a courtroom battle between FAI boss John Delaney and a former League of Ireland manager.
Finn Harps legend Patsy McGowan is suing the FAI boss over claims that he has been prevented from making a living as a pundit.
The case is to be heard at the High Court in Dublin on November 27 and 28.
Patsy McGowan, who led Finn Harps to FAI Cup glory, claims that Mr Delaney and the FAI threatened to sue two newspapers -- 'Sunday People' and 'Donegal Democrat' -- which Mr McGowan was writing for in previous years.
The former manager says that he was prevented from earning a living because of the threats against the newspapers by Mr Delaney and the FAI.
