Conor McGregor is being sued by a fellow MMA fighter over a brawl at a UFC event earlier this year.

Michael Chiesa (30), who suffered facial injuries during the incident at the Barclays Centre in New York on April 5, filed a lawsuit this week against McGregor, his company and his entourage.

In July, McGregor pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct but avoided any jail time.

The extent of the injuries suffered by Mr Chiesa was detailed in a legal complaint, which said the fighter has been left "sick, sore, lame and disabled" from the assault. Chiesa is suing McGregor for assault, battery, negligence and "negligent infliction of emotional distress".

McGregor's company, McGregor Sports and Entertainment, is also named on the lawsuit as well as 20 people who were part of McGregor's entourage when he carried out the attack. Also named in the summons and complaint is the Barclays Centre.
