Kathryn Hayes

A POLISH man "trapped" in Ireland without a passport has been jailed for two years for his role in growing cannabis with a street value of over €180,000.

Father of four Piotar Glebocki (46) was found cultivating 192 cannabis plants at a house in Kilmeedy, Co Limerick, on December 5 last.

He was "recruited" after he had come to Ireland with the hope of working in construction and his passport had been taken from him, Limerick Circuit Court heard.
