Man accused of trespass at U2 star Larry Mullen's home

A Dublin man accused of trespassing at the home of U2 drummer Larry Mullen (pictured above) has been remanded in custody.

Gerard O'Neill (31), of Orchid House, James Street, Dublin, appeared at Cloverhill District Court yesterday and was remanded in custody for two weeks by Judge Victor Blake.

He has already been charged with trespassing on the curtilage of a building at Claremont Lodge, Claremont Road, Howth, in such a manner as to cause fear in another person, on October 19, 2014.

Mr O'Neill faces another connected charge under section nine of the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act for possessing a golf club on the same date with intent to unlawfully cause injury or to intimidate two gardai in the course of their duty.
