Jury sworn in as man (18) goes on trial for attempted murder
A JURY has been sworn in for the trial of an 18-year-old Dubliner accused of the attempted murder of a man in the city last year.
Tadhg Costello (18), of Richmond Hill, Monkstown has pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of Josh Leahy (18) at Johnson's Court in Dublin city on May 31, 2012.
He also pleaded not guilty to assault causing harm to Mr Leahy and possession of a knife on the same date.
A jury of eight women and four men was sworn in for the trial which is due to begin on Thursday and is expected to last up to seven days.
