'I didn't do it' - Woman (39) charged in connection with murder of Gareth Hutch

A 39-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the murder of Gareth Hutch.

Mr Hutch (35), a father-of-one, died of multiple gunshot wounds after he was shot at the Avondale House flats complex on North Cumberland Street on May 24 last year.

Gareth Hutch was a cousin of the late Gary Hutch and also the nephew of murdered taxi driver Eddie Hutch.

Regina Keogh appeared in Dublin District Court this morning where evidence was given of arrest, charge and caution.

After her arrest shortly before 9.30am this morning, she was brought to Mountjoy Garda Station where she was charged with murder

She replied: "I didn't do it. I didn't murder anybody".

Judge Michael Coghlan agreed to a request that she be seen by a doctor as she is on a lot of medication.

Regina Keogh has been remanded in custody to appear again on 16 June.
