Husband charged with murder of mother of two in Navan apartment
A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of his wife in Navan 10 days ago.
Marius Daniel Sarzynski appeared at Trim District Court last night over the death of his wife Aleksandra Sarynska, a mother of two . He made no comment during the short hearing.
Det-Sgt Tom Flynn told the court he arrested Mr Sarzynski at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda on Friday.
Det-Sgt Flynn charged him with murder at Navan Garda Station later that evening.
Aleksandra Sarynska died on August 30 at an apartment in Bective House in Beaufort Place, Navan, Co Meath. He body was discovered shortly after 7pm.
She has two sons, aged six months and three years of age, who are now being cared for by her family.
Ms Sarzynska had lived in Ireland for several years and was understood to work in a discount supermarket.
Mr Sarzynski‘s solicitor requested that his client be allowed keep his medication while in custody.
Judge David Clyne remanded Mr Sarzynski in custody until next Friday, when he will appear before Cloverhill District Court.
