Human trafficking into Ireland trial to begin tomorrow
A JURY has been sworn in at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for the trial of a man accused of human trafficking.
Song Bo He (32) of Blackhall Street, Dublin 7, has pleaded not guilty to conspiring with others, who are not before the court, to organising and facilitating the entry into Ireland of illegal immigrants or asylum seekers. The offence is alleged to have occurred both in and outside the State between January 1 and July 25, 2009.
A jury was sworn in today and will begin hearing evidence tomorrow before Judge Patrick McCartan. The trial is expected to last around two weeks.
