Court strikes out dead men's cases

SEPARATE cases against two young men were struck out after the court was told both 24-year-old men were dead.

Trevor Breen (24), with an address at Upper Castle Street, Tralee, was due in court in relation to a minor public order charge.

However, Mr Breen's solicitor, Padraig O'Connell, informed the court that Mr Breen had died in "tragic circumstances" on Sunday.

Kevin O'Brien, also aged 24 of Clogher Failí, Caherslee, Tralee, died on July 4, the court was told.
