Council footing housing costs

DUBLIN City Council is meeting the costs of housing Priory Hall residents while a resolution process chaired by a retired Supreme Court judge continues.

But the local authority would not say whether any works were taking place at the site.

It is understood that the process involves the residents, Dublin City Council, banks and building societies.

The repair bill has been estimated at €7.3m.
