Corr and Campbell guest on Tubridy's BBC debut

SINGER Andrea Corr and former spin-doctor Alastair Campbell will be guests on Ryan Tubridy's BBC radio show, writes Ken Sweeney.

The 37-year-old makes his British debut tomorrow, providing holiday cover for Graham Norton's 10am -- 1pm Saturday slot.

"I've been on holidays for the last few weeks but at the same time working out what records I'm going to play," Tubridy told the Irish Independent last night.

Along with 'Late Late' regular Andrea Corr, Tubridy and his producer, Alan Boyd, booked Tony Blair's controversial aide Alastair Campbell on the programme.

Tubridy was introduced to BBC Radio 2 by Graham Norton, who rang him on air last Saturday.

Tubridy confessed: " It's all very large and exciting but I feel like a nervous wreck. I can't tell you how worried I am. It's a bizarre blind date with your listeners Graham."
