Commuters warned to expect delays after three early morning collisions

Commuters are warned to expect delays throughout the country this morning after reports of three collisions.

There is a collision inbound on the N7/Naas Rd at J3 Citywest in the right lane. Delays back to J6 Castlewarden.

Earlier this morning, gardai were called to the scene of the collision at the M50 northbound before Junction 5 at Finglas. This crash has now been dealt with.

AA Roadwatch said that there are delays southbound on the M50 between J6 Blanchardstown to J7 Lucan.

Meanwhile in the city centre, there is heavy inbound traffic from Edge's Corner in Fairview through to Connolly Station on Amiens Street.

There are also delays along the North Quays between Ormond Quay and Bachelors Walk.

AA Roadwatch is also reporting that it's slow inbound on the Swords Road from Whitehall Church to Collins Avenue.

In Cork, emergency services are dealing with a collision at Ladysbridge Village on Castlemartyr to Garryvoe Rd (R632).

Delays are also building on the M8 Dublin Road approaching the Dunkettle Interchange but traffic is generally light around Cork city centre.

Traffic elsewhere in the country is moving well this morning.
