Commuters have been warned to drive carefully as emergency services deal with a building fire on the N3.

AA Roadwatch cautioned that "visibility may be affected by smoke" due to the fire in a building on the Dublin side of Virginia.

The fire has now been dealt with and delays are expected to ease.

Meanwhile on the M50 a collision has occurred on the M50 at the Ballymount junction.

Elsewhere traffic is moving well as expected due to school holidays.

In Dublin city centre it is busy approaching the Quays on Church Street and intermittently along the North Quays between Wolfe Tone Quay and Bachelors Walk.

Traffic is also busy from Edge's Corner in Fairview to Connolly Station.

The N7 is "busy but moving well" according to AA Roadwatch.

In Galway there is a crash outside of Athenry on the Monivea Road. The road is closed and diversions via Cussaun Cross are in place.
