Commuters facing delays as after taxi overturns in rush hour traffic
Two separate incidents in Dublin city centre this evening are causing delays for commuters.
Dublin Fire Brigade deployed two ambulances and two fire engines to an incident on Morehampton Road.
Delays in the area have been reported back to the canal due to the all lanes being closed for a time at the Waterloo Road junction.
While all lanes are now open again drivers are advised to avoid the area.
A taxi overturned on the road. Nobody was injured in the incident and it has now been cleared.
A second collision on the Leopardstown Road inbound before the Clayton hotel is also adding to delays in that area.
Commuters have also been advised that a student race-day at Leopardstown course will also add to delays.
Meanwhile, emergency services are dealing with a broken-down bus on North Wall Quay inbound at the New Wapping St jct, in the left lane.
In Cork a crash on the N25 Waterford/Cork Road in Midleton has led to westbound delays.
Rail passengers have also been warned of delays of up to 10 minutes to Northbound services through Pearse and Connolly stations due to a signalling issue.
