Artist Stuart Semple has brought his world-renowed Happy Clouds to Ireland for First Fortnight, the country's only mental health arts festival.

The clouds are generated by using a modified snow machine, which mixes soap and helium to produce smiling clouds.

Dublin and Cavan had been chosen because they are affected by growing suicide rates.

The clouds will be launched at 12pm today at the People's Park in Dun Laoghaire. For further details see firstfortnight.ie.
