Claire urges everybody to stop for a coffee

BROADCASTER Claire Byrne is urging people to get behind Ireland's biggest coffee morning in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation.

The hospice service is facing a serious funding crisis as demands for palliative care increase due to our growing ageing population.

And Ms Byrne said she is "delighted" to support the coffee day.

People in workplaces, homes and local organisations are being asked to hold a coffee morning and collect €2 for each cup of coffee drank on September 17.
