Chocolate park lures families
A 'Chocolate Factory Park' built on a theme drawn from the 'Willie Wonka' book will be among four parks in the Dublin docklands area designed to attract families.
Dublin needs to follow what had happened elsewhere throughout Europe where inner city quarters were designed for family living, Gerry Kelly of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority (DDDA) told the 4th Annual Social Regeneration Conference held by the DDDA in Killarney yesterday.
Chocolate Factory Park is one of four parks being developed in the Dublin docklands. The others are Chimney Park, North Lotts Park and Linear Park.
