The results of this Irish Independent/Kantar Cross Border Poll offer a fascinating insight into the mood on this island, as we stand on the cusp of the centenary of partition.

Conducted up until last weekend, it lays bare the differences between north and south, and predictably, the cross-community divisions in the North.
