Cecelia stays at home as new book hits shops
THE much anticipated new novel from Cecelia Ahern has arrived in bookstores, but the author herself was nowhere to be seen, writes John Spain.
Booksellers reported a "brisk trade" for the new offering 'One Hundred Names' but unusually, there was no launch event.
Instead the bestselling author was at home with baby, Sonny, now two and a half months old, and daughter Robin, who will be three in December.
Head of book buying for Eason, Maria Dickenson, said: "There was a brisk trade for Cecelia today in all our stores nationwide, with lots of people in asking for the book."
Ms Ahern (left) will be signing books at Eason in Dundrum at 2pm tomorrow.
