Candidate woos expats in French election first

Plenty of foreigners around trying to tell us how to vote in the referendum so it's nice to see one coming over looking for votes in his own country.

Jerome Lussan, an independent candidate in France's 2012 parliamentary elections for the constituency of Northern Europe, is in Dublin visiting the French community looking for their votes.

"These elections are a historical event and it is rare for any country to have an elected member of parliament representing its expatriate community."
