Burton's off to see the wizard
Follow the Yellow Brick Road to pass the referendum.
That's clearly Joan Burton's plan.
The Social Welfare Minister (pictured) was wearing a pair of ruby- red shoes at the Labour Party referendum campaign launch yesterday, the likes of which haven't been seen since Dorothy killed the Wicked Witch of the East and was bestowed with her ruby slippers in 'The Wizard of Oz'.
Joan was in summer mode, wearing a black-and- white linen dress.
She's obviously not expecting rain on the campaign trail.
Notably, when she left the venue, the Royal College of Surgeons on Kildare Street, most of the entourage left with her, leaving Eamon Gilmore in her wake with just two handlers.
