Five Irish sporting legends will attend a Night of Legends in aid of the Michaela McAreavey Foundation.

Brian O’Driscoll, Martin O’Neill, Mickey Harte, Paul McGinley and Henry Shefflin will dine and mingle with guests in aid of the charity on Thursday night.

The Michaela Foundation was established in honour of the late Michaela McAreavey – to make something positive come from their anguish.

Michaela's widow John McAreavey said: “Personally, I can't wait to hear the legends' different opinions on a variety of sporting matters. It should be an amazing night.”

Tickets for the Night of Legends are selling at £200 / €250 per seat.

Guests will be treated to a drinks reception, five-course gala dinner in the lavish surroundings of Carton House, Maynooth.

Rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll, 2014 Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley, Republic of Ireland soccer manager Martin O'Neill, Tyrone manager Mickey Harte, and Henry Shefflin, 11-time hurling All Star and nine-time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny will mingle with guests.
