Boy (13) 'critically injured' after serious road traffic collision - Gardai

Gardai are looking for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision win which a 13-year-old boy was criticially injured.

The incident occurred on the Carpenterstown Road near the Carpenterstown Shopping Centre at approximately 8.35pm on Sunday evening, February 1.

The 13-year-old boy, a pedestrian, was struck by a black BMW 5 Series, Gardai report.

Emergency services were contacted and the boy was taken to Temple Street Children’s University Hospital where his injuries are described as critical.

Witnesses to this collision are asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01-666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
