The body of a man who is understood to have been living homeless was found dead in Dublin city centre this morning.

The body was discovered at Dawson Lane, just off the busy Dawson Street in Dublin 2.

The location is less than a minute's walk from where Jonathan Corrie was found dead last year.

Mr Corrie passed away just a few metres from the entrance to Leinster House.
