THE body of a 41-year-old man has been found in the front garden of a suburban house.

The man from the Donnycarney area of north Dublin was found in the garden of a house on Collins Avenue owned by an elderly woman.

Units of the Dublin Fire Brigade, the ambulance service and gardai responded to an emergency call and his body was taken away at about 9.30am.

A garda spokesman said that a post-mortem examination would be carried out today to establish the cause of the man's death.

He said that the man appeared to have died "from natural causes" adding: "Whether he had an underlying health problem . . . we don't know."

He added: "There's nothing sinister in it."
