Bodies of Eoghan and Ruairi returned to devastated mother
THE bodies of the tragic Chada brothers have been returned to their devastated mother Kathleen.
Gardai accompanied the hearse carrying both Eoghan (10) and Ruairi (5), in a single coffin, which arrived back at the family home in Ballinkillen, Co Carlow in the early hours of the morning.
The boys’ bodies are being laid out in the house surrounded by artwork from school, toys, and flowers.
It had made the 500km round trip to Co Mayo and back to collect the boys, who were discovered dead after their father Sanjeev crashed his car in Westport on Monday.
He remains in Garda custody with sources telling the Irish Independent that he has admitted strangling his sons.
The two boys are reposing in their family home from noon today, with the funeral to be held tomorrow.
The boys’ death notice was posted last night and read “Deeply regretted by their Heartbroken Parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, school & sports friends and neighbours.
Local councillor and family friend Thomas Kinsella, told KCLR radio “They’re back home now this morning”.
