Beware of black ice: Number of collisions across the country with motorists being urged to take care
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision near Dublin Airport.
Traffic is now down to one lane between the M1 and the airport roundabout with further delays expected.
The two middle lanes on the off-ramp from the M1 to the airport are currently blocked following the collision.
There have been a number of reports of black ice across the country.
Gardaí are dealing with a collision involving a truck in Cork on the Charleville/Newmarket Rd around Freemount.
Meanwhile, a car skidded on a patch of ice on the Kinsale Rd between Fivemilebridge and Riverstick.
Gardai and members of the fire service are responding at the scene.
Also in Dublin, there has been a breakdown on the M50 northbound at J10 Ballymount.

In Galway, motorists are being urged to drive carefully due to a fallen tree on the N63 Mountbellow/Roscommon Rd approximately 1km east of Newbridge.
