Beaumont Hospital to restrict visitors due to Norovirus outbreak
Beaumont Hospital in Dublin has appealed to the public to avoid visiting the hospital and St Joseph’s Hospital Raheny and the Raheny Community Nursing Unit over the Bank Holiday weekend unless “absolutely necessary”.
Restrictions will remain in place as a preventative measure to contain an outbreak of Norovirus in the hospital.
Essential visits are confined to the hours from 6pm to 8 pm until further notice, with visiting confined to one visitor per patients.
Children will not be permitted to visit the hospital.
