There's bad news for Ben and Jerry's ice cream lovers as batches of the ice cream were recalled from Irish stores.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has recalled the Cookie Dough flavoured ice-cream due to the possible presence of small metal pieces.

Unilever has issued a press notice and in-store notices warning customers who have bought batches not to eat them.

No other Ben & Jerry’s products are known to be affected and the batch code for the brands being recalled are L62110L011, L62111L011, L62112L011 and L62113L011.
