Arson attack at Quinn premises in Co Cavan

Another arson attack has occurred at a former Quinn Group premises in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan.

The attack which happened last night was on the Quinn Packaging premises. 

A white jeep type vehicle, with a licence plate of POB1, was driven through a fence, down through the car park and into the front door of the building. 

Huge damage seems to have been caused to the front of the building. 

The car which was either set alight or caught fire on impact was extinguished by the Ballyconnell fire brigade.
