Aldi set to launch three litre bottle of prosecco
It will be available in stores from November
Prosecco lovers are in for a treat this Christmas as Aldi has announced it will be launching a three litre bottle of their premium DOCG prosecco.
Following the success of their magnum sized bottles, the new version will hold around 24 glasses of bubbly.
It will be available in stores and online from November 14 for £39.99 (€44).
While it has been confirmed that it will be sold in all UK stores, it is not yet known if the big bottles will be coming to Ireland.
A spokesperson for Gibney Communications said they cannot yet confirm if the jeroboam will be made available here.
The three little bottle is expected to be extremely popular in the UK.
The prosecco is 100 pc Glera grape from Veneto in Italy and is 11 per cent ABV.
Its colour is described as “light and brilliant straw coloured yellow with persistent pelage,” the bouquet as “fruity, light and delicate with wisteria flowery notes,” and the taste as “sweet, delicate and dry.”
