The new holy grail in eye liners?
Benefit are about to release something very exciting.
Kohl pencils smudge, liquid is a bit tricky, gel with a separate brush - too messy and felt tip pens dry out.
So those looking for their eyeliner fix may have found that no one product really hits the nail on the head – or the flick on the eyelid.
In response, the boffins over at Benefit put their heads together and have spent the last five years perfecting a completely innovative new eyeliner.
Part of the They're Real line, the new liner is part pen, part waterproof (!!) gel and pushes up for easy "goof-proof" application.
The formula is matte black so won't leave the lash line looking shiny and the AccuFlex tip pushes your lashes out of the way so you can get right in at the roots.
This lash hugging technique means you'll get a more solid looking line, without gaps and darker looking lashes, a win win situation!
Available on shelf on June 27 and priced at €25, we predict a queue.
Until then, we're sticking with Inglot Waterproof Gel Liner in #77 Matte Black, €15. The darkest formula we've seen and it does. Not. Budge. You'll want a waterproof eye make up remover to get either of these bad boys off.
For an even more foolproof application, smudge the liner immediately with a small brush or cotton bud. The softer finish is sexier and won't look harsh, plus your liner doesn't always have to be perfect.
Ideal for a quick beach-to-bar sultry look.
They're Real Push-Up Liner €25.
They're Real Remover €19.50
