Insider Foodie Thursday: Wicklow’s Wild and Slow Festival returns
Head to the garden county to find out what’s happening in the world of slow food.
The Wild & Slow Festival is an annual event that aims to highlight the best of Irish food, with a leaning towards the fresh, local, traditional and wild.
Brooklodge and Maccreddin Village in County Wicklow is the destination for a gathering of those passionate about Irish food this weekend, when this free festival will take place from the 8th to the 9th of November.
There will be masterclasses, workshops, a market, tastings and talks taking place over this two day event. Some of our most committed Irish food folks will be on hand to help celebrate wild and slow foods including Michelin star chef Derry Clarke, forager and mixologist Oisin Davis, author Sally McKenna and Slow Food stalwart Darina Allen.
