Six fire units from stations across the city are attending a massive fire in Tallaght

Dublin Fire Brigade is reporting that they were called to the scene of a fire at an abandoned industrial unit shortly before 7.30pm tonight.

A spokesman explained that five regular units and an environmental unit are currently trying to control the blaze.

Officers do not believe that anyone was in the unit at the time.

Efforts to control the fire are ongoing and units from Tallaght, Dolphin's Barn and Headquarters are curretnly at the scene near the Greenhills road.
