There were minor scuffles outside the Dáil today as water protesters clashed with gardaí.
On one side of Leinster House off-duty and retired garda sergeants and inspectors marched to demand a wage restoration while on Kildare Street their colleagues were forced to deal with a group of water protesters.
A number of demonstrators were pictured staging a sit-down outside the gates of Leinster House.
Gardaí confirmed that there were no serious incidents and the protest had now moved on.
