She may be a judge on 'The Voice of Ireland', but Rachel Stevens has admitted she's glad she never had to audition for a reality series.

The former S Club 7 star has served on the panel of the hit RTÉ show for two series alongside Bressie, Kian Egan and Una Foden.

She said: "I never did the whole audition process. I think they're really brave.

"When I started, it was very different. The whole industry was different. There wasn't any of these shows. There wasn't social media or posting stuff on YouTube."

Stevens was in Dublin to launch the 2016 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival which takes place on Friday June 24 to Sunday June 26 at The Curragh racecourse.

Rachel said she would love to return to the show.

"I had such a great time doing it and this time around being my second time, I had my feet under the table and I felt like I knew what I was doing," she said.
