X Factor unveils successful Wildcard acts after public vote
Leon Mallett, Talia Dean, Alisah Bonaobra and duo Jack & Joel complete the 16 hopefuls
The X Factor has unveiled the four acts to join the competition via the first ever wildcard vote.
Leon Mallett, Talia Dean, Alisah Bonaobra and duo Jack & Joel complete the 16 hopefuls taking part in the live shows after they were voted for by the public.
Mallett, 22, joins Louis Walsh’s boys after a rollercoaster experience in the competition during which he split up with his brother and bandmate on the advice of Simon Cowell.
Bonaobra, also 22, from the Philippines, completes Sharon Osbourne’s girls team, while Talia Dean, 32, is Nicole Scherzinger’s addition to the overs.
Jack & Joel, both 22, join Cowell’s groups team after initially being booted out at the judges’ houses stage of the show.
Osbourne told Mallett he had been through a soap opera storyline during his time on the show, and praised the viewers for voting him back in.
Fans on Twitter were delighted by the return of the four acts, with @RidingMyZayn posting: “So happy that @LeonJMallett is one of the wildcards.”
