Want to see some of the best bands in Ireland while supporting a good cause, all free of charge?

Of course you do.

Rock Against Homelessness is back for another year and some of our favourite bands will be performing at Dublin's Olympia Theatre for one night only on Friday, April 7 to raise funds for Focus Ireland.

HamsandwicH, Finbar Furey, The Blizzards, Dolorentos, Paul Cleary of the Blades,  Ivy Nation, August Wells  – plus special guests — will play an incredible concert.

Homeless musician Danny Bracken, accompanied by Paul Brady and Dave Fleming, will also perform at the second year of the concert.

We've got a pair of tickets to give away every day for the next five days to say thank you for your continued support.

To enter, just follow us on Twitter @IndoEnts and RT the post. We will announce the winners on Monday, March 20.

Each winner will receive two tickets.

And we've got a few other tricks up our sleeve.

A very special band will also perform a surprise set on the night and MC on the night will be Katherine Lynch and Al Porter with special guests. Trust us, it's good.

Independent News & Media, Ireland’s largest media group, are organisers of the event. This follows on from their successful involvement in last year’s Rock Against Homelessness sold-out concert in aid of Focus with Camille O’Sullivan, The Strypes, The Stunning, Something Happens, Mundy, Donal Lunny and many others.

Focus Ireland Communications Officer Michelle Moran said: "There are now 2,407 children have nowhere to call home in Ireland. It is truly shocking that last month one child became homeless every five hours in Dublin alone.

"This is unacceptable and wrong and our staff are working every single day with families and individuals to help them overcome the terrible impact being homeless has on them.

"In such a crisis, events like Rock Against Homelessness help put a spotlight on the issue and raise vital funds for our services to support people who have lost their homes and to prevent people on the brink of homelessness losing their homes.”

Tickets for Rock Against Homelessness are available from Ticketmaster Outlets Nationwide, and cost €30.00. Phone & Internet Bookings are subject to 12.5% service charge per ticket, agents €2.15.
