A group of kayakers were forced to break up a fight between two girls brawling as their raft sped down a dangerous river.

As their friends struggled to keep the raft afloat in rough water, the two women, believed to be sisters, continued to attack one another as they continued down the Nantahala Gorge in North Carolina.

The entire spectacle was caught on video by a group of kayakers, one of which had a GoPro strapped to his helmet.

Screaming at the women to stop, the kayakers eventually manage to stop the raft and intervene to break up the fight.

“This is scary water, you have more important things to worry about,” yells one of the group, warning the women of the real danger that one of them might tumble into the river.
