The first of the John Lewis Christmas ad parodies has arrived and despite the tiny budget, it's very cute indeed.

We've seen the real John Lewis Christmas ad featuring Buster the boxer dog, an adorable pack of woodland creatures, Buster's owner Bridget and a lot of gleeful bouncing on a trampoline.

The department store spent a total of £7 (€7.96) million on the feel-good campaign and six months getting it together.

The 'Budget Buster' ad was put together with the help of the London School of Communication Arts and features handmade dolls, wool puppets, cardboard sets and visible string.
