Volunteer call for 2015 Jameson Dublin International Film Festival
For those that love all things film or think it's time to take their first steps into the film industry, the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival wants you to come onboard for 2015.
A recruitment call has been issued for those willing to volunteer to staff the lobbies, chat with guests, and sneak a cheeky peek at some films.
Keen to highlight just how important volunteers are to keeping the annual festival running smoothly, its organisers has released a show reel of past and present volunteers chatting about their time with the festival.

Veterans and first-timers are interviewed on what the festival has meant to do them, and highlights include meeting and greeting the stars, getting the chance to dip the toe into the industry, to finding that special someone.
“There’s nowhere else where I feel I’m part of something so important,” said one veteran. While another long-timer said it was “the craic” that had her coming back year after year.
“I thought that volunteering with the festival would be an excellent opportunity to get to speak to people about films and see what was coming in and out of the city,” said a new volunteer.
“I’ve keen interest in film and I’ve always hoped to find a niche where I could get involved,” said another.
So whether you are a first timer or a returning pro, the team behind the festival say there is plenty of positions available in a variety of areas, including event hospitality, production, promotions and market research.

“Volunteering is a fantastic way to experience the cinematic celebration that the festival brings to Dublin each year,” said a festival spokesperson.
“It presents a wonderful opportunity to gain first hand experience into how an event of this scale is managed and organised.”
The 2015 Jameson Dublin International Film Festival runs from March 19th to 29th, and for those interested in getting involved simply download an application from www.jdiff.com and email it back to the festival organisers by February 20th 2015.
