Young bowled over by artist Magritte
The programme with the week's longest title was Perspectives – The Man in the Hat: René Magritte with Will Young (UTV), which managed to suggest that the Belgian surrealist and the former Pop Idol winner were somehow an item, or at the very least good mates.
In fact, Will was just a huge fan of the great painter. "He's been my inspiration since I was a teenager," he confided, but it remained unclear how exactly he'd inspired the amiable warbler. Perhaps to sing 'Anything is Possible'?
Well, anything certainly is possible when pop stars, even those as amiable as Will, get to front hour-long programmes about major artists.
