X FACTOR contestant Rylan Clark is reported to be taking over ‘Big Brother’s bit on the side’ from Emma Willis.

Willis will host the main show later this year after Channel 5 decided to drop former winner Brian Dowling as the re-vamped show's host.

The Sun reports that producers are keen to capitalise on Clark’s popularity following his appearances on X Factor on Celebrity Big Brother last year.

Clark has been hinting in recent weeks about a big upcoming TV project on his Twitter account.

It had originally been reported that Willis would be presenting both shows, however producers are now believed to have decided on Rylan.

There has also been speculation that the singer was in the running to replace Olly Murs on Xtra Factor joining Caroline Flack.

Murs announced he would not be returning to the show in order to focus on his music and touring in the US.
