X FACTOR contestant Tamera Foster has said she fears her past could stop her making the live shows.

Viewers saw the 16-year-old wow judges over the weekend on the first audition show.

However it was soon revealed that she had openly bragged about experimenting with drugs on social media.

The teen, who has been installed as the early favourite to win, was even reprimanded for attacking another girl last year.

However the London native is now worried her pat could stop mentor Nicole Scherzinger taking her through to the live shows.

“Nicole is a really big inspiration. It would upset me if she thought I let her down”, she told The Sun.

“I’m determined to show I’ve changed. I realise violence and drugs ruin dreams.

“all I can do is work hard and be the best I can. I promise this is the last you’ll hear of my bad behaviour.

In a twist to this year’s series, the judges were informed of their categories at boot camp, rather than just before judges’ houses.

The X Factor returns this Saturday night at 8pm on TV3.
